Business Models are helpful to prospective clients in describing how a company operates, the values it presents to the public, the structure of the operating environment, and the level of governance exercised by the provider. A model further illustrates the provider’s flexibility in working with the client and enabling the client to participate in the development project to whatever extent it desires.

The RGA Outsourcing business model is such that we perform the business development function, identifying business opportunities in the software project development outsourcing marketplace and establish the interactions required to gain client acceptance of our services. Our primary purpose and the overriding value that we produce is to find and select the very best resource and solution for each client’s project. The company currently has several technology partners with headquarters in the U.S. and development centers offshore in various international locations. Our model dictates inclusion of our technology resource partner in the business process immediately after the preliminary job work order is created through to completion of the project.

Upon determining all of the necessary specifications and requirements for the project, our selected technology partner will submit a proposal with their contract to RGA that will include the necessary technology solutions, timetables, deliverables, payment schedule and their price to RGA. Outsourcing will encapsulate this document in its own formal proposal and present it to the client, reflecting the final price and a complete description of RGA’s services for the client.

After the sale RGA will function as the general contractor overseeing the project with the RGA project manager in overall “soft” control making certain that all is going well and working with the client at the level where the project was sold. The RGA project manager also operates as the initial escalation point in the event there is a mishap. Our technology resource partner will assume responsibility for the quality of the work, meeting all deadlines, reporting progress on a continuous basis and maintaining their own project manager who is able to interface sufficiently with the client at the technical level to complete the development portion of the project.

Billing will be accomplished on a mutually agreed upon schedule as presented and accepted via the RGA proposal/contract document.

Our whole focus is on delivering what the client wants, when they want it, and at the agreed upon price with a minimum of trouble and stress.
